Wine Class - Exploring the Terroir of the Willamette Valley

Grab your friends and kick off the holiday weekend with an educational wine class exploring the terroir of the Willamette Valley. What makes the Willamette Valley special? Why does Pinot Noir do so well in this climate? Where will the industry go in the future? We'll answer these questions and more in this hour-long class while enjoying a tasting of five wines paired with delicious cheese and charcuterie.

Beth Richman, WSET Level 3 & CSW, will lead the conversation and tasting as you explore the history of the wine industry in the valley and taste through a wide variety of wines from three different sub-AVAs - Ribbon Ridge, Dundee Hills, and Yamhill-Carlton. You'll walk away with a deeper appreciation for the Willamette Valley and maybe even a bottle or two of a new favorite!
