Wine & Whiskers is a week-long fundraising event with many ways to participate and support Newberg Animal Shelter's efforts for saving these animals. The event begins with opening an online auction for bidding on Friday, May 10th until Sunday, May 19th at 12 p.m.. The showcase event at the Chehalem Cultural Center on Saturday features a silent auction, live auction, paddle raise and terrific fellowship all beginning when doors open at 5 p.m.
The Newberg Animal Shelter's Wine & Whiskers event is crucial to successfully continuing the operation of their local shelter. The funds raised will aid in the cost of saving helpless pets, providing needed medical attention and finding them new homes.
