A Chef's Guided Tasting Experience

Cellar season is our best-kept secret in Willamette Valley wine country. The early winter months of 2024 are also a celebratory time, as the Willamette Valley commemorates its 40th anniversary of its AVA (American Viticultural Area) and the exciting diversity reflected by the eleven nested AVAs within its boundaries, each with its own unique terroir.  So head out to our wineries in January, February and March and savor intimate tastings in cozy rooms, along with some of the regional dining we’re famous for. This year we are partnering with First Nature Tours, to offer a Brunch and Bubbles Tour featuring a private dining experience with Chef Zach Clark who designs your brunch experience to complement the distinct character of the vineyards wines.

Enjoy an immersive Chef's Guided Tasting Experience at Domaine Willamette, Oregon’s first facility that exclusively produces world-class méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines and one of Willamette Valley Vineyards newest locations. Explore the cellar and the engaging art collection, and gaze at the glittering starry-night ceiling, one of many ways in which the property acknowledges its dedication to biodynamic farming. Lunch, by executive winery chef DJ MacIntyre and Zach Clark, is executed to pair perfectly with assorted wines from this esteemed label.

Sample the refined results of some of the Chehalem Mountain AVA’s oldest vines, planted in 1980, at Privé Vineyard. Privé recently launched a second brand, Sealionne Wines, sourcing from 13 acres of pinot noir in the Ribbon Ridge AVA. Your private tasting of premium wines with owner/winemaker Piper Underbrink will further immerse you in the mystique of the Willamette Valley’s winning wines.
