Plan your unforgettable Oregon Track and Field adventure.

Eugene, Oregon, is known as TrackTown USA, and it’s no wonder why: It is home to the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field (newly renovated and arguably among the most famous venues in all of track and field history), and is the alma mater to Steve Prefontaine, the man who captured the imagination of fans all over the world as a distance runner for the University of Oregon. Oh: And the athletic sportswear company that would become Nike launched here in 1964. No big deal.

University of Oregon’s Hayward Field will welcome runners July 15 – 24 2022 for the World Athletics Championship

In the summer of 2022, Eugene will honor that track-and-field heritage while supporting a new generation of world-class athletes when it hosts the World Athletics Championships Oregon22. The event, held in the United States for the first time ever, will bring together the world’s best track-and-field athletes between July 15 and July 24, 2022. We can’t wait for you to join the once-in-a-lifetime event.
