Wine Class - All the Reasons to Love Riesling

In the last decade, Riesling became a go-to for Sommeliers in restaurants across the country as a wine that was new for many customers but paired so well with a variety of dishes. However, Riesling still has a stigma for being an ultra-sweet, perfumey wine amongst many consumers; that is until they try the Trisaetum Rieslings.

Join Beth Richman, WSET Level 3 & CSW, in this deep-dive into Riesling to learn the history and nuances of this grape and why Trisaetum became known in the Valley (and Washington DC!) for their crisp, mineral-driven interpretations. Explore a range of dry to sweet Rieslings, blends and single-vineyard bottlings, as well as a late-harvest Riesling. You'll be able to taste how the vineyard grapes are grown affects the flavors of the wine, as well as how important the residual sugar level is for food pairing options. By the end of this hour-long class, you'll be a Riesling expert and a pro at pairing the right Riesling with any reason!
