Culture & Life in the Willamette Valley

The Willamette Valley stretches south of the metropolis of Portland beyond the unique city of Eugene and both our land and our people are tremendously rich in diversity. What indigenous people call this land home and how do the Black Pioneers honor and educate on Oregon's black experience? There are so many voices, cultures, religions, and sexual orientations to be celebrated.

We work to provide an environment of openness for all people. Start right here and feel connected to the producers of the foods you'll eat, the products you purchase and the adventures you'll have that honor and celebrate what makes the Willamette Valley a special place to visit.

When you travel you have something to learn and we in the Willamette Valley have something to teach.  Attend an event, try a new cuisine, and explore a smaller community to discover our roots and cultural collaboration.
