This year marks the 73rd anniversary of the Silverton Hills Strawberry Festival. Since 1951, Silverton area folks have been enjoying this local tradition. Originally held at the Silverton Hills Grange Hall, the festival is now held at Coolidge-McClaine City Park.
Enjoy a strawberry delight with biscuits and ice cream, all for just $8. Strawberry shortcake desert is free for children 2 or younger and 80 or over.
About the Berries: The festival began using Willamette Valley Fruit Products grown in the Central Howell area in 2013, with their packing operation located in Silverton. Prior to that, the festival used Oregon Fruit for many years with berries grown locally, and prior to that, it used a combination of Oregon Fruit and local berries from Silverton.
