ROSTERS
Each team must turn in a paper copy of their SportsEngine Governing Seasons roster to the official on their court prior to their first match. AES rosters are not required to be uploaded. There are no formal coaches' meetings. See an example of a legal roster here.
ACCEPTANCE
Acceptance is based on the timestamp of your registration in AES and if you have paid the registration fee. This tournament accepts payments on an "OK To Pay" model. If a team registers and they fall within the tournament capacity, AES will change the team’s status from “Pending” to “OK To Pay" within 1 business day. This will open up the payment portal. Once this status changes, you will have 48 hours to submit payment. Once payment is submitted, your status will be changed to “Accepted.” Failure to submit payment within 48 hours results in the registration being rejected and the team being moved to the end of the waiting list. Registration for events is still first-come, first-served. The timestamp of your registration in AES still matters under this policy.
JERSEYS
Teams are encouraged to show their red/white/blue spirit throughout the weekend. Jerseys and personal equipment of players & coaches may not be of a political nature (e.g., advertising a political candidate). You may not use glitter or anything else that may get on the floor. Numbers must still be visible and within regulations. Liberos must still be in clearly contrasting colors.
WORK TEAMS
Work teams are expected to provide an R2, table crew, and line judges. An R1 will be provided on all matches. Coaches must either serve as the R2, or be courtside, for all work assignments.
AES NOTES
The CEVA office does not have access to the individual AES accounts of clubs. It is your responsibility to understand how to access AES and how to register for events. The CEVA office also does not control the technical capabilities of the AES system.
