Join our Regional Committee Meetings

WVVA convenes marketing and public relations representatives from DMOs and partners each month to inform and influence the Willamette Valley’s public relations and marketing efforts. This round table discussion usually begins with marketing updates from WVVA and Travel Oregon including seasonal campaigns, marketing channel updates, content placements and public relations/media pitches and opportunities. Partners are encouraged to share local news and updates that can be woven into ongoing PR pitching and into WVVA's content channels on a quarterly basis.

Email melissa@willamettevalley.org if you are interested in attending or sharing updates.

WVVA works with Lawrence Public Relations to vet media and pitch regional stories across all pillars on an ongoing basis. WVVA supports local DMOs by pitching their local stories, events, businesses, and products to national and international media. We also host media on familiarization tours (FAM Tours) so they can get a local, hands-on experience for a more comprehensive view of our region and our destination. We encourage partnership and collaboration with FAM planning and hosting (ex. assistance with meals, lodging and experiences).

WVVA’s intent within Global Sales outreach is to represent the entire region and provide specific DMO or destination information at global sales shows that may take capacity or be too broad in scope for a specific destination in the Valley.

This group is undergoing internal transition with the aim of being a resource for opportunity sharing, community building, and learning. There will be more information on how to engage with this group in an upcoming industry newsletter.

Join our Newsletter and get quarterly updates on WVVA's regional impact.

The current grant cycle has closed, please stay tuned for future opportunities.
