Visitors have two options for overnight excursions at Silver Falls State Park one just a bit more rustic than the other.
A shady campsite at Silver Falls State Park
The sprawling campground at Silver Falls State Park sits along South Fork Silver Creek and hosts 48 electrical sites with water, 43 tent sites, two group sites, and 14 cabins (seven of which are pet-friendly and all of which are open year-round). Other amenities at the well-appointed campground include firewood and ice for sale, easy access to nearby hiking paths, restrooms, showers, and even a playground. Two of the sites, four cabins, and the campground's restrooms and showers are all wheelchair accessible.
The second option for staying the night at Silver Falls State Park is a newer venture called Smith Creek Village which hosts cabins, cottages, and (for larger groups) lodges near the southern edge of the park. These vintage stays come with a variety of modern amenities including comfortable beds, smart TVs, kitchenettes, and more.

Try to make reservations at least three or four months out to ensure you get your desired site or cabin. And if you're staying the night in a cabin at the park's campground, especially in mid-summer, make your reservation when the booking window opens six months out from your arrival date.
